Cestoil Expands Northshore™ CF16 Supply in Latin America
Toronto, Ontario (September 5, 2026) — Cestoil Chemical Inc. is expanding the supply of Northshore™ CF16 cold flow improver to Latin America, with an additional commercial shipment now being prepared in response to repeat regional demand.
Cold temperatures can cause wax crystals to form in diesel fuel, restricting fuel flow through filters and affecting winter operability. Northshore™ CF16 is designed to help refiners, fuel blenders and distributors manage cold flow properties and maintain reliable handling and performance under demanding seasonal conditions.
The new order builds on established commercial use of the product and reflects continued demand for practical diesel performance solutions in international markets. Cestoil is coordinating production documentation, quality control and export logistics for the shipment, including batch-specific certification and transport documentation.
Supporting winter diesel performance
Cold flow improver selection depends on the composition of the base fuel, its wax profile and the required cold filter plugging point. Cestoil works with customers to review these conditions and select an appropriate treatment program. Where required, cold flow improvers can also be combined with wax anti-settling additives to support low-temperature storage and distribution.
This additional supply supports Cestoil’s continued growth in Latin America and its commitment to providing responsive technical and logistics support to fuel customers worldwide.
